With absolutely adorable illustrations, this book tells the story of a girl who lives in the blue cottage, moves away, and the blue cottage falls into disrepair. When the girl grows up and is a mother, she returns to live in the house and cares for it again. This is a cute story. It was not the most engaging for my children, but they did enjoy it, and I would recommend it for the illustrations alone.
