Review:

This beautiful fairytale-like story was a wonderful find! The book features some of the best writing for the age level I have read. The book is full of humor, wonderful description, and powerful messages. The story begins as the king sends out a proclamation trying to find someone who can help his daughter be more beautiful. Everyone at the palace is skeptical at first when a poor widow claims she can fulfill the task. But the king and queen finally agree, and a wonderful story unfolds.
