After one of my children read this book, he was often applying bits of wisdom he learned from the book to our conversations. I love literature that makes us think and deepens our knowledge. This fantastic, classic book is a must-read for all teenagers and adults. The reading is challenging, but it is engaging as we read correspondence between the devil and a demon-in-training. This insightful book really made me think about my own life and how to triumph over evil. Parents should be aware that the book does discuss sexual relationships—obviously promoting sexual purity—but the book may be most appropriate for children ages 14+. Some people do not like C.S. Lewis or this particular book. This review is, of course, my personal opinion, and you are welcome to skip books by C.S. Lewis.
