The Singing Tree
The Singing Tree is a sequel to The Good Master, but it works wonderfully as a stand-alone as well. The story explores life on the Hungarian plains during World War I. The writing and the messages are powerful. I loved The Good Master, but I like The Singing Tree even more! Please be aware that the word Jacka** is used once, which some consider profanity. Also, the term “gypsies” is used, which some consider a derogatory term.
