Review:

I give this book a hearty recommendation due to its educational and moral merit. Although the first chapter is a little slow and challenging, I really enjoyed the book after that. The plot may be too complex and confusing for children under ten years old. This book would work great as a family read-aloud for older children as it gives opportunities to talk about messages such as justice, forgiveness, love of family, selflessness, kindness, honesty, and the ill effects of greed and corruption.
