Review:

This 103-page historical fiction book is a great introduction to the Middle Ages. The story is exciting and covers the dangers of the time without being too scary. This has good descriptive writing for the level. For example: “A mist had come in from the sea. Far away were roofs and towers rising out of the mist. They shone red and gold in the evening light.” Overall, this is a great book for younger readers.
