Tom’s Midnight Garden
Tom’s brother has the measles, so Tom is shipped off to stay with his aunt and uncle in their apartment. Tom braces himself for a boring stay with nothing to do and no friends. However, when the antique grandfather clock strikes 13, Tom makes a magical discovery. This imaginative book is well written, wholesome, and engaging, but it does not have any profound messages. This would be a good book for those just starting with good and beautiful style books.
