Tree Wagon by Evelyn Sibley Lampman

Tree Wagon

By Evelyn Sibley Lampman
Level 6
Review:

From Indiana to Oregon, Henderson Luelling and his eight children brought a wagon full of 700 young plants, including many varieties of fruit trees. Based on a true and fascinating story and told from the perspective of one of Luelling’s daughters, this historical fiction novel is packed with educational value. This book is hard to find, but it is included on this list because it is worth tracking down, if possible.
