Twice Freed
As the book tells the engaging story of Biblical characters Philemon and Onesimus, the reader learns about the historical time period and the lives of the apostles and Christian converts. Patricia St. John is a fantastic writer. Not only does the book have high moral, literary, and educational value, but it is also a page turner. The book does refer briefly to “orgies” taking place, but it is referring to this definition, as we find it in Webster’s dictionary: “secret ceremonial rites held in honor of an ancient Greek or Roman deity and usually characterized by ecstatic singing and dancing.”
