This is a good old book originally published in 1949. These classic stories feature a cheerful bunny rabbit gentleman who understands human speech and has dedicated his life to helping other animals and children. I completely agree with an Amazon.com reviewer who wrote: “These stories are set in such an innocent time, that it requires adjustment for most children initially to get involved, compared to the books and television shows that are currently available. The book provides imaginative stories that promote virtuous behavior.” The writing and vocabulary is excellent.
