What Degas Saw
The artist Edgar Degas collects and creates impressions of the bustling inhabitants in Paris. Beautiful and evocative illustrations by Cristina Pieropan are mixed in with seven original works by Degas that encourage readers to view the world around them with more creativity and appreciation. I loved this book because it was a fun read, easy to connect to, full of beautiful art, and included some of Degas’s own work.
